Christmas Day 2007 Hospital visit Cusco: Distribution of Christmas presents to 72 children staying in the Children's wards of Hospital Antonio Loreto & Regional Hospital in Cusco

20 December 2007 Christmas presents Ausangate region. Donation of Christmas presents to over 450 children in the Ausangate region

13 December 2007 Tiracanchi Educational Tour. Peru Treks paid for a 3 day holiday for 18 children, 4 teachers  & 3 parents from the community of Tiracanchi. The tour  included a Cusco city tour, Sacred valley tour and a day trip to Machu Picchu.

13 November 2007 School construction

Pampallacta Kindergarten, near Chahuaytire in the mountains behind Pisac. Peru Treks donated US$5000 to the costs and and friends from Canada donated an additional US$2500. The money was donated to the Hope foundation who undertook the construction. The construction also included a toilet and shower block, water supply and drainage.

15 September 2007 Vilcanota River Clean Up

Peru Treks donated US$485 to South American Explorers to provide transport  to take 200 volunteers to the Sacred Valley to clean rubbish from the Vilcanota River. South America Explorers, together with donations from other travel agencies in Cusco, successfully collected over 25 tonnes of rubbish and plastic bottles.
